The Plan
The sixth floor will be located above 2nd,3rd, and 4th wings, and will be used for the entire Faculty of Social Sciences. The area, which is spread over about 2150 square meters (gross) in total, is intended for research and learning, with a design that invites creative thinking, connectivity and collaboration: rooms for interdisciplinary doctoral students are planned that share one common space; seminar rooms; Independent learning spaces intended for graduate and doctoral students. Also, a common emeritus room is planned for all the departments of the faculty, and two research centers of the Faculty will be located in an adjacent area and will share one conference room.
Also planned later: an academic and administrative staff club that will be built in a modular manner that will also allow for faculty gatherings. In addition, a green roof that will rise above the 3rd wing. The green roof will include a walking track, fitness facilities, lookout points with telescopes, a mini amphitheater for holding ceremonies, and partially shaded seating areas on wooden decks with green surroundings.
